Both the Cas-Lin “Cam-Loc” and “Sure-Loc” panel are utilized in the construction of refrigeration panels.

Processing and Storage Applications

Cas-Lin panels are approved for use in facilities that fall under the control of Agriculture Canada Food Inspection and its Provincial equivalents. Approved materials are used on all Refrigeration Panels:

  • Agriculture Canada approved paint finish
  • Stainless Steel and FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic)

Cas-Lin doors are constructed in a manner that does not offer places to trap moisture and food pieces that can incubate bacteria. Doors are placed so that the door does not come in contact with raw or cooked food passing through it and cause cross-contamination with subsequent food passages.

Occupational Health & Safety is addressed with all freezer door installations. All freezer doors where people can enter are equipped with at least one heat strip around the entire door opening, thus preventing frost build-up from “welding” the door shut and trapping the occupants. An internal latch release mechanism is used on all refrigeration doors where people enter.
